LocoStory cares about your data. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you use LocoStory, we collect:

  • For hosts: your Google email address and display name (via Google Sign-In).
  • For hosts: history of games you created - places picked, scores, dates, nicks of players who joined.
  • For guests: only the nick and avatar you choose for a single game session. We do not store guest emails or accounts.
  • Technical: IP address (for rate limiting and security), browser type, region. Cleared automatically.

How we use it

We use your data only to operate the game (auth, history, anti-abuse) and to improve the product. We never sell data, never share with advertisers, and never use it for tracking outside the game.

Who we share with

LocoStory runs on Google Cloud and uses these third-party services:

  • Google Firebase Auth - for sign-in. Subject to Google Firebase privacy policy.
  • Google Cloud Platform - for hosting and database. Subject to Google Cloud privacy policy.
  • Google Maps & Street View - for the game itself. Subject to Google Maps privacy policy.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us: contactmetisora.ai

Cookies

We use only essential local storage to run the game - your session token, language preference and nick. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Some functional cookies may be set by the services we rely on: Google Sign-In (Firebase) when you log in, and Google Maps / Street View during a game.

Retention

We keep your account and game history as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Children

LocoStory is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when needed. The 'last updated' date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced in-app.
